Foreign buyers choose the northern Costa Blanca to buy their luxury properties
The sale of luxury homes by non-resident foreigners in Spain increased in 2022 and continues to increase in 2023, the northern Costa Blanca in the Valencian Community is the most popular of the autonomous communities of Spain with foreign buyers representing 26% of the luxury real estate market.
By nationality, the purchases of luxury properties in 2021 are fairly distributed among different countries: the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, France, Switzerland, Poland, Denmark, Norway, the Czech Republic, and Austria.
The trend in 2023 after the start of the invasion of Ukraine is the same as 2021 adding the nationalities of Ukraine, Estonia, Lithuania, Latvia and Slovakia.
The great market for the purchase of a second residence or permanent residence of luxury properties continues to be the northern Costa Blanca in the towns of Moraira, Benissa, Dénia, Jávea, Calpe, Altea, Benitachell, Finestrat and Benidorm.
