Permits to build new houses increase by 10.4% until July

Authorized visas for new construction for residential use in Spain increased by 10.4% between January and July 2019 to 68,544 units, compared to 62,091 units registered the previous year. This follows from the work visa statistics published by the Ministry of Development.
By type of housing, of the total number of visas between January and July, 54,949 were of block apartments, which represents an interannual increase of 12% and 13,551 of single-family homes, with an increase of 4%.
